Welcome To

Faithful Texas Footprints

Daryl Lott

This blog offers food for thought and hopes to answer the question: Is there something between “woke” and “whitewash”? I believe there is. As you explore the articles, I think you will find a centrist view of historical events and its application to current events. As we learn about Texas and American history, we will be inspired by the lives of men and women of all races who overcame great obstacles to make an impact on the world. Together, we will discover the ways in which our ancestors’ Christian worldview shaped our country. This journey will empower us to be world changers ourselves, taking action to spread positivity and love wherever we go. Let’s practice polite restraint and courtesy as we walk through the fascinating history of Texas and America.

About Me

I am a certified Texas teacher and Texas peace officer. I have  an A.A. in Law Enforcement from San Jacinto College, a diploma from the Houston Police Academy, a B.A. in History, Literature, and Education from Univ of Houston/Clear Lake, a M.A. in History, Literature, and Philosophy from California State University, and a diploma from Liberty University Bible Institute.

I publish my background  to offer my qualifications on opinions I share. I have many years of experience on the streets of Houston and the classrooms of Harris County. It does not make me any “smarter,” it just means I have not simply gone to the University of Facebook Memes.
